PARK PROJECT BERLIN is a year-long multimedia project, creating a snapshot of Berlin 30 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Filming the parks of Berlin and the people who use them while exploring the traces of history left behind.

Filmmaker Laura J. Lukitsch and photographer Gundula Friese have set out to document the parks of Berlin. Through photographs, videos and conversations they explore the importance of public space and the role that parks play in our society. The team is curating a contemporary mosaic, with the reflections and visions of both old and new residents of Berlin, as the city faces changes from immigration and gentrification.
